Why are Anglican Diamonds pricier than Reformed Diamonds?

I've been wondering about this for a while...

The two Diamond packages are priced identically out of the gate...but for me, the difference in price is drastic. For whatever reason the dynamic pricing discount of Reformed is almost twice as much as what I am offered on Anglican, or it might be more to the point to say Anglican's dynamic pricing discount is about half of the Reformed discount...and the kicker is that difference amounts to just shy of $1000 dollars! I've thought about it, and something about that just doesn't seem right? What gives?

On top of this, the ad copy says Anglican has just over 1500 resources and Reformed is just shy of 2000.

FYI...I have Portfolio.

The simple answer is that you must own more reformed titles than anglican.

There are many more new-to-Logos titles and collections in the Anglican track, along with many collections never included in a base package before (even Portfolio). They really are a killer deal, but of course, dynamic pricing is ... dynamic. [:O]

It is very likely you already have a significant portion of the Reformed Diamond package. So you get a lower dynamic price. You can verify this by getting the "new to you" resource lists for each package from sales. They will list how many books are included and their individual purchase prices.

One might think so...but someone would have to prove it to me before I believe there is a $1000 difference in my library. I have a preference for neither.

...but, yes, I plan on doing this tomorrow for both of these and Lutheran. (Btw, I know it's called the "Lutheran" base package, but the number of resources about Luther in that package is spooky...almost obscene.)

For me the Anglican is cheaper. If you look at the list of resources you already have and their approximate cost, you'll find the prices make sense. It simply takes some work to show it. The value of the package (in contrast to cost) is another issue entirely.

A big thing in Anglican Diamond is ICC, if you do not own that one, you will definitely notice. The ICC on itself costs 1500 dollar (or more do not know exactly by heart)

I think MJ and others provide clarity. It depends on what you already have. For me the Anglican Diamond package is less expensive ($2044) compared to my dynamic price for Reformed Diamond ($2672). The pricing is based off my current Verbum Capstone+ library and additional resources. Basically, its what is new to me (and you). I suspect that if you contacted customer support and asked for that detail it might show that you would be gaining more new titles in your library with the Anglican Diamond package. I'm sure there are new-to-Logos titles but the pricing is based on what you already have compared to the respective base package.

I was thinking this. If you don't own ICC, then you are going to see a considerably higher price. The regular price for ICC is $1899.95, so it would have to count for a large part of the package.

Reformed diamond for me is $2,313.80 USD

I will likely one day get Anglican Diamond, but for now Gold is good enough for me. And I have no interest in the reformed package.
