What would you guys think about adding custom blogs to the Homepage in L5? Also, what does everyone use to track their blogs they read?
I don't use the homepage... and won't unless performance and design is greatly improved. I do like your idea however. It could be part of a MAJOR overhaul. It might be difficult to implement, however. Many blogs depend upon ads for revenue.
It is true that the performance of the Homepage is less than desirable.
I use feedly, it works very well, and it's on all desktop and mobile platforms and it sync's between them. I have over 100 RSS feeds I track, you can categorize and do all the stuff you would like to. It has direct integration with a bunch of tools, and a special level of integration with Evernote when you are on mobile, so it's easy to clip full/partial articles or photos and save to Evernote.
