iPad will not sync to PC

I have turned off the wi-fi and powered down the iPad to restart it to sync but it will not grab my latest notes and highlights from my PC.  Any suggestions as to how I can get it to work?  :)

    • Which version of the Logos app are you using? 
    • What version of Logos software on your PC?
    • Do both PC and iPad have Internet connectivity?
    • Are you using the same account details on your iPad app and your PC?
    • Do your updated notes and highlights appear at https://documents.logos.com/? (This will help determine whether the issue is with the PC synching with Logos servers or with Logos servers syncing to the iPad app
    • If you create a highlight on your iPad does it get synced to the PC?

    Graham asked some really good questions. Hopefully those will help to figure out your issue. I did want to let you know about the iOS and L5 forums. Typically a question like this would best be asked there... And those forums are a great place to learn more about either L5 (for Mac or PC) or the iOS apps (Bible!, Vyrso, Faithlife, etc.) for iPad / iPhone. This thread may be moved to one of those forums (if so, you should get an email about it).

    Here is my reply:

    • Which version of the Logos app are you using?  Logos 5 on PC...not sure about iPad....don't know where to look for that information

    • If you create a highlight on your iPad does it get synced to the PC?  No.  To test it, I highlighted on the iPad and then clicked the sync button in LOGOS on the PC.  It did not sync.

    Any suggestions.  So thankful for your help.  :)

    For clarification: Logos doesn't technically sync BETWEEN devices... it syncs to the "cloud." This is parsing words in a way, but is an important distinction. Your iPad app doesn't talk to your computer app. Instead, each app talks to the Logos server "cloud." If the highlights and notes you take on your iPad are appearing on documents.logos.com, then your iPad is syncing just fine... in which case, this is an L5 issue. 

    Do you know how note documents work in L5? Do you know where you are storing your highlight notes? Do you know how to show and hide note documents within a resource?

    "Logos 5" isn't specific enough. We need to know which version of L5. The most current version is 5.2a, SR3. Which version are you using? 

    To find which version of the mobile app, press the "help" button on the homepage. Towards the bottom of the help page menu is a section called "APP INFO." Your version number will be listed there.

    Thank you both, Graham and Alabama for all your help.  Customer Service helped me and I ended up deleting the app and loading it again. It now works and all is well. My thanks again to you both.  :)
