Are there plans to produce a droid app for Logos 4?
We have been told no. But there is this: bible.logos.com/m/

Terry, the link you provide just shows Genesis 1 and a link about the iPhone. Am I missing something there? Sure wish they would make it available for Droid.

Actually, what is currently available to use for non-iphone or ipod users is a mobile web app at library.logos.com which allows you to sign in and access some of your resources which publishers allow to be used. I currently have a winmo phone, but may be switching to a droid or android based phone, either way, if it's possible to have apps which would allow for offline reading in winmobile and adroid and blackberry based phones, I think that'd be preferable for most people.

I would second the need for the App on the Android OS especially for the Droid phone.

Me too . . . I greatly appreciate the mobile access that is curently available, but the iPhoen app video has left me wanting the same on the Droid. The iPod Touch is a solution for those of us whose carrier doesn't offer the iPhone, but who wants to carry two devices? And the iPod Touch connectivity is limited to wifi access.

You should all check out the Logos Blog on mobile device software. They are taking a simple 8 question survey to evaluate the level of interest in developing such software. So please take the survey and spread the word so that Logos will get a good feel for the many of us non-iphone users out there that want that kind of support. This is a great opportunity!

Oops! I forgot to add the web address. It is:

You will find a link for the survey on that page. Hurry up let's get them moving.

David, I think that blog and survey are from August of 2009.
Bob just posted a new survey here. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/14831.aspx
I don't know if it makes any difference, but I think we should vote on the new one just to be safe.

Logos, How did the survey turn out? My phone just downloaded Droid 2.1. I think there is the potential for Android to outsell iPhones in the near future. I still hope and pray we will eventually get an app. Thanks for everything you've done so far!

Michael,
Since the survey is still available for people to take, we do not know the results yet. When the survey has been taken down, we will calculate the results and determine the plan of action from there.
Thank you for your interest!

I think there is the potential for Android to outsell iPhones in the near future.
They officially outsold them last month (April stats for March) and with the Incredible released in April (late, April) I would imagine they outsold them in April too. With Incredible hype big, they will probably outsell iPhone in May as well. With the EVO 4 for Sprint coming out I will imagine it's going to be a great summer for Android...at least until iPhone 4 releases. For what it's worth, I think Android will still outsell Apple then too.

I agree. In fact, there are security issues with the iphone, which
means I will not be getting one.0 -
Any updates on this? I'm an iphone user and LOVE Logos on there. I want all my friends to have it, but many are droid users....
