Q for Parallels users

Does your Windows L4 crass if you copy location as URL in a book? I can copy other types but copy location as URL crashes it every time. I am running Parallels 5 and can't figure out how to turn off clipboard synchronization to be sure it is the cause.

I think that copying anything but text at this point is buggy and they know about it. I get it also running in VMware

Thank you. I know the clipboard sync is funky in VM's period. We have experienced this where I work. Placing large text clippings in a VM clipboard will result in garbled or truncated output in the host OS. I figured the problem was similar here.

On the Windows side go to an open resource, drop down the panel (does this panel have a name?)where the cover icon is, then click "Copy location as: URL"

Anyway, I tested it on my Mac Pro (Parallels 5, Windows 7, 3GB RAM in the virtual machine) and it worked fine. Anything else you'd like me to try?

Thanks for trying that. Your setup almost perfectly mirrors mine so that shoots my theory down about it being Parallels. No big deal, I may have to setup logging and try to capture the crash.

FWIW, I also tried it on my MacBook Pro with only 1GB dedicated to the Windows 7 VM in Parallels. No issues with it, either!
