The New Mac Pro

I did do a search and didn't get any results for a conversation relating to the new Mac Pro.  Does anyone have a Mac Pro with which they use Logos?  Does having six or eight cores matter to the software?  I know some software out there, having six or eight cores does nothing to the performance just because the software is not written to take advantage of it.

No, I'm not considering dropping at least $3k.  A friend of mine and I were discussing it and their church is buying a Mac Pro for graphics work and he is a Logos user.

Thanks for the help,

Wilson Hines

Not certain that Logos was written for 6/8 cores, but that along with 6-8 Gigs of Ram should certainly make it fly.

Thanks for the replies.  I've had plenty of enough experience with Logos to know that the "Mac Recommended" setting are insufficient.  It's a beast!

Steve, that was an intriguing thread.  Thanks
