UI unresponsive following "Adjust Plan from Today"

I've found this to be consistent and it happens on both my iPhone and iPad and with all of my reading plans:

On a reading plan that is behind, swipe left, tap more, then tap adjust plan from today.  Once it adjusts, try to open the plan...it is unresponsive.  The app will not respond until you try to scroll the list of reading plans.  It won't scroll, but once you've tried to scroll and then released, it then responds normally...it will scroll the list or open the reading plan as it should.
