I noticed that under search I can search by reformed authors. I would be neat to see it available for Arminian authors.
How can you search by reformed authors? As far as I know that is not a feature built into the software. If you have all your resources by reformed authors tagged as "Reformed" then sure, you could search within mytag:Reformed.
But apart from that possibility, I'm not sure what you're referring to. And if you did the tagging for Reformed so that you could search within them, then why not do it for Armininan as well?
EDIT: Or were you talking about the logos.com website? (In which case, this thread really belongs in the Logos.com Website forum.) I could see you might be referring to that, because there's a way to filter the search results by Reformed (as a "Christian Group") but not by Arminian. But that's because Reformed is a recognized denominational affiliation, but Arminian is not.
EDIT2: There's a group of volunteers who have been creating a massive list of all the authors Logos carries and what theological leanings they have. There's a column for Arminian in the spreadsheet that has come out of their efforts (of which Andrew Baguley is the curator). He posted the latest version here a few weeks ago: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/54491/590003.aspx#590003
I assumed that it was something that was part of the software. I guess at some point I could have added Reformed Authors:
Edit: I just looked up the collections examples, and reformed author is not there. http://wiki.logos.com/Example_Collections. At one point I added all those collections, but then logos added them to the software later if I remember right
From its location in the drop down list, I would also assume that it is Logos supplied. Perhaps added together with the Reformed package? If so, where are my Anglican and Lutheran equivalents?
You might want to put this suggestion in the Reformed forum or the Suggestion forum where it is sure to be noted.
Interesting. I don't have any of those collections in that section in my search-in dropdown, and I bought one of the Reformed Base Packages. I don't think Logos added any pre-defined collections to the software, in spite of people requesting that.
Look in your collections tab and see if you have collections named "Commentaries, Reformed" "Reformed" and "Reformed by author". I suspect you must have created them yourself at some point. Everything that shows up above the "TAGS AND RATINGS" line in my dropdown list, no matter what I type in the filter box, is a collection I created myself. Is unrelated to what base packages I have.

They have in Verbum so the capability is there. However, I was a bit hasty - taking the scroll bar to be at the top and not noticing that the collection heading was not visible. I suspect that if he scrolled the drop down list up a bit, he would see that it came under collection rather than the Logos predefined which are at the very top of the list, before any headings.
I believe that the community spread sheet creating the denominational and theological collections does have an Arminiam column and hence can generate a collection.
Here is what I see under search, I only have 2 series. I never purchased a reformed package

It was there, your right.. I must have created it a long time ago and forgot about it. [:$]

I suppose it was just predestined to be there.
Just search for "heretics." [:D] Just kidding though they might be considered such from a reformed perspective.
I guess the arminians are lost after all. Send out the evangelists.
However, I don't have reformed authors in my Reformed Diamond either.
