I have not seen anyone recommend this, so here is a shot at further improvement in Logos 4 performance for those using VMware for Windows version of L4.
I have VMware 3, L4 using Win XP SP3. You are likely aware of what paging is. Paging is where the hard drive is used when the RAM isn't sufficient for a particular task.
You can turn off paging in Windows by going to Control Panel, System, Advanced tab, Performance Settings, Advanced tab, Virtual Memory, click Change, click radio button for No Paging File, click Set, then restart.
If you have enough memory allocated to VMware from your Mac, you should be fine.
I found things snappier immediately.
