Many of us have requested that Logos begin to produce their Bible Study Magazine in digital format. After being a faithful subscriber since the beginning I finally pulled my subscription last month because I'm on a mission to reduce "stuff" that occupies space. Also I found it frustrating that I could not search these later digitally. Others who live overseas find the cost of shipping prohibitive.
Recently Logos had begun to release parts of past issues as resources. Michael Heiser's "I Dare You Not To Bore Me with the Bible" - https://www.logos.com/product/41695/i-dare-you-not-to-bore-me-with-the-bible was released on May 8th. I picked up a copy of this because it is the section that I enjoyed reading the most.
Today I received an email announcing the "Not Your Average Bible Study Series" - https://www.logos.com/product/42409/not-your-average-bible-study-series?utm_source=blog.logos.com&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=notyouraveragestudy&utm_campaign=lexhampress2014q2 This series also appeared in past issues of Bible Study Mag.
It makes me wonder what will come out next. I have mixed feelings about this trend. On the one hand I really appreciate that parts of BSM are now available in digital format. On the other hand I don't like paying for them a second time. In my "ideal" world I would still like to see BSM as a digital subscription.
