When I try to use the library function to check an item to download on my Ipad, no check boxes appear.

Is this with all of your resources or just some of them?
If it is just some of them, the reason is most likely that the publisher has not given Logos the permission required to make it available on platforms other than the PC. My understanding is that Logos still has not come to agreement with a few publishers.
You can also go to the resource's product page and see if it is available for mobile (see image below).
Hi Ron - and welcome to the forums
In addition to what Rick has said there are some resources - available on mobile devices - which can't be controlled from within the Logos 5 library.
One example of this is Zondervan-published Vyrso books.
As per Rick's question it would be good to know with which books you are seeing this behaviour.
