Is there any way of turning layouts into desktop shortcuts?
Luoar
I don't believe so but it has been requested before - see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/53489.aspx for an example.
Any particular reason you would like this functionality?
That sounds like it'd be a big time saver and not in the time honored tradition of Logos.
Actually, it's been suggested quite a bit. At one time, L4 could be kludged to force 2 choices (layout, no layout). But I think they cleaned it up, to prevent time savings from slipping through.
EDIT:
Hi Graham ... I can't believe you asked why he'd want this! I'd give pretty good money, you used to be young and in a hurry (I was anyway).
Selecting the layout before loading means you can pop open your can of high-caffein cola and take two, maybe three big gulps! Plus it makes it easier for your kids ('Click on the one that says 'Billy'!)
This feature is available in Accordance. I have gotten used to it and it allows me to access my resources quickly. I think Logos would be well served by it.

Just not wanting to assume anything[:)]

Looking into this a bit further Randy Sims posted a way of doing this using Powershell - for details please see discussion at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/75889.aspx
