How to Fix redownloading all resouces all over again

I have a bit complicated question. I tried everything I can, looked for answers on the web but no hope. Here it is
I have the copy of Logos 5 DVD in my laptop but not the DVD. I waited to install Logos5 till I upgrade my internal hard disk. Once I upgraded then I tried installing it from the copy of DVD and I was a bit confuse because it wasn't installing rather it just ran the program. Then I signed in my account and it then download all resources I have. it is around 5.30GB. I then let it finished downloading. Off course I realized that the location then would be different since it doesn't install but just run from where it is.
Once it finished downloading all resources it tell me that, "an update is ready to be installed, click here to install" so I clicked it and it installed the update. Now it installed Logos5 and I can no longer run Logos from my DVD copy location. But I can run from the icon of installed Logos.
The the problem comes here. When it finished installing the update then it opens up the Login window where to sign in with account. Then I sign in again and when it's open, the program then is downloading all the resources again which is 5.30GB. When I check my Library there is no book at all. But I finished downloading all resources before. I don't want to download it all over again because it takes a lot of space and internet.
Please help me how can I find all downloaded resources and where can I paste them so that I don't have to redownload all over again. Or any tips that wouldn't download all my resources again. Please

I am not a windows user, so I will probably need to defer to one of my windows friends to help you out. One suggestion: The software on the DVD will probably be out of date by the time you receive it in the first place. Logos is constantly updating the software. It is best NOT to install from the DVD. Instead, you should always download the newest engine via the link in my signature line. Then you can use the scan method to import resources. Many of those will need to be updated anyways, but it will save you some time in downloading those resources which don't need to be updated.
Here is a wiki article which <might> help you: http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers

What operating system is on the laptop ?
Wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs#Copy_Logos_Resources_to_Mac_OS_X has resource locations on Windows and OS X.

One option is contacting Logos => https://www.logos.com/contact
For forum discussion, would like to look at Logos diagnostic log files.

Thanks for your reply. I got my Logos fixed like 10mins after posting the question. It is pretty much the same procedure I did with the link you suggested. The main problem was Logos running from the copy of DVD without installing it. So when it downloads resources it then created folders (files) in a default location when installing Logos. When I updated Logos it then installed the program and have its default files created in a default location. So I just copy paste the resources from previous downloaded data to newly installed data. And it works. Thanks
