Crash on install
I'm testing for minimum requirement. I'm installing on a Pentium 4 2.3GHz with only 500 MB of RAM running XP (I realize this is below requirement, but just thought this might help you guys pinpoint minimum requirements). I got a crash on install.
1. It made me restart after initial installation appeared successful
2. It had me log in.
3. Seemed to crash right after login.
4. I sent the report to Microsoft
I've attached the only one of the log files that I could find.

when I launch the Logos Bible Software 4 icon that is present on the desktop it asks me to login
The screen saying "Logging In" remains on the screen for about a minute before it crashes again and I send the crash report to Microsoft.Jacob Hantla

That log file was the only one in the folder.

You're running XP; do you have Service Pack 3 installed? SP3 is a minimum requirement for XP (and the current installer doesn't warn you if you don't have it).

Thankg Bradley. Now we all know what kind of crash we will have if SP3 is not installed. i'm downloading it now, as I only had SP2 before.
Will I have to uninstall and reinstall Logos after I install SP3? Or should it work from here?

It should just work once SP3 is installed.

Having a similar problem here. When I try to log in, it crashes. If I try to log in with a wrong name, it tells me it is no good but does not crash. That tells me it is at least getting to the Logos servers.
I can go to the work offline thing, but then none of my resources show up.
Is there a log file that will help you?
Please keep in mind that I am a DVD tester, and I have not received that yet. I am just playing with the download while I am waiting. If you do not want this information from me, just let me know and I will wait until the DVD arrives. But if I can help, I will.

Hi Jerry,
It would help us to get the Logos4.log and Logos4Indexer.log found in \Documents\Libronix Log Files.
Thanks!

I went offline and it offered me download for the first time. It started to download about 640 MB of something. Good. We will see what comes out of it.

Glad I could help. I actually discovered it when I had no internet access for a short time.
When I was able to get back online, I tested it with a phone login name. That is how I realized that my name was getting to the servers. So now I just work offline.
Note to Logos: This is my test of a test machine. I have kept my real computer clean for the DVD.

One more thing Bohuslav -
I was able to download resources and index this way. Most everything works without the login.
Interestingly enough, I installed on a laptop and it all worked fine, including the login.

JerryThank you again. After downloading the resources and updates, when Logos wanted to restart, I logged in with my correct info and it crashed. So I have to download again. We will see.
