Ebay has a few listings for the old "Logos Hermeneia CD" at an awesome discount. Kinda makes me wish I didn't already have it.
Wow, looks like a great deal, but I don't trust e-bay very much. I've only used it once when I purchased a Pink Panther Cartoon Collection and it got lost in the mail and nobody wanted to be held responsible for my loss. So, being that someone else has probably already owned it and activated it, I'm not sure it's gonna be a piece of cake trying to get Logos to activate it for me. I think I'll pass.

I bought my copy of Hermeneia on Ebay a year or two ago. It worked just fine. I buy stuff on Ebay all the time. These say the cases are factory sealed--I doubt there would be any problems, but Ebay has its satisfaction guarantee. It vows to provide a full refund if the product is not as described. I assume that is true...but I've never had cause to find out.
Agreed David. I was appalled to see how much cheaper I could've obtained these wonderful resources. Ah well, I suppose I just would've blown the extra on other wonderful resources.
I purchased the Hermeneia CD on ebay some time ago at a Ebay trusted seller. Great buy. It will take some time to get to know each volume, but some of them I already especially like (e.g. Matthew from Luz, and Sermon on the Mount from Betz).
After seeing this thread, I was prompted to see what was available on Ebay for Logos. I just picked up Logos 2.0 Level 4, which includes BAGD, so all those old links to it will finally work, and the Jermone Bible Commentary. I even got it for a reasonable price. Yeah!!
How come you didn't buy them all and resell for a profit?
You know the "old 'Logos Hermeneia CD'" does not have the complete set.

I saw that and wanted to get it, but I don't have any way of getting the software onto my computer. Enjoy--I'm not envious...really, I'm not.
I think I have enough computer parts around to make it work. I'll figure it out somehow, even if I have to send Dave Kaplan the disc!
I have bought tons of stuff off ebay, lots of Libronix stuff even Logos 2 stuff. Got Hermeneia, WBC other things along the way. And when Hermeneia is on sale from time to time, the dynamic pricing makes it great.
I bought the new Hermeneia cd set. The seller immediately sent me the activation code. I called Logos, gave them the activation code, and I've downloaded every volume. No problems. Muchas gracias!
Which volumes are not a part of the cd set?
I actually paid under $50 for the Hermenia CD on ebay last november. Now they are all around $200 on ebay. Glad I got a good deal on mine/

I saw one for about $62 earlier today. From a seller I recognize from the forums. I'm sure he's happy about this thread, because the price has almost doubled since.
Could someone tell me which volumes are on the old CD-ROM. I can't find that anywhere...
Also, does anyone know if this CD-ROM would work with the Mac version of Logos?
Thanks.
Deleted post with wrong information
I just realized that's only old testament. I will keep looking.
Yes - its the serial number that you actually need.

This post might help you be able to figure it out.
Thanks MJ and Joseph. Very helpful!
