Everything but useful information

I was trying to see how many volumes of the Oxford Movement's Library of the Fathers, more properly A library of fathers of the holy Catholic church: anterior to the division of the East and West, were available in Logos. A search told me something about the editor(s) but not much about the series. I know there are circa 50 volumes in the series of which Logos sells X?.
Note: I have two in my library but they are not titles showing in the search
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Looks like we have independent reprints of volumes from the series scattered throughout our library, so that may be why the series title isn't more clearly outlined.
They would be better served anyway compiled into a single product. I've asked Marketing to consider doing so and complete the set if needed.0 -

All the volumes (except one I think) are on Logos.com in one form or another. Once they are all funded and produced, we will reconfigure them into one package.

FWIW, here is a blog post I did listing the various resources in their various states of funding/production (some of the CPs might be in PP by this point) http://anglican.logos.com/2014/05/01/the-tractarians-and-the-church-fathers/

Part of the problem is the extra "the." If you just search "library of fathers of the holy catholic church" you'll get better results
As I said earlier, I believe every volume is up except one (we had/have a different translation on CP/PP so I decided to hold off for a bit).

a) Your blogpost lists 15 titles, your link only finds 13...
b) There is no series tag, so we can't use the left column to filter for it.

I really hope they do this.

You're correct - I went off Wikipedia where I had gone to find a list of the contents. And since it had matches, I jumped to conclusions. Now I'll jump to the conclusion that those matches are typos that should be fixed .

Brings up another issue - a worse one. The metadata does not distinguish between a multivolume work and a series of separate works (sequenced or not). So this has as it series "Morals of the Book of Job" without a place for the actual series "library of fathers of the holy catholic church". I'm not willing to give up the multivolume information for the series info. Aargh.

It's actually not that straightforward. I do think the shorthand is Library of the Fathers. Since the full title is cumbersome, it makes sense to use the shorthand in summary copy. At the same time, it doesn't make sense to put the shorthand in the series title information for each volume. I'm not sure what the best solution is at this point (other than making one collection at some point).

Yeah, that is a problem. [:P] Though I will say that the actual series title should referenced on the product detail page in most cases.

I definitely am, it's been the plan for some time. I just have to wait till everything is produced.
The biggest problem was that some of these volumes were put in other collections before my time. There was no way I could do a comprehensive collection right away.

You will have to eventually. Hayley always prioritizes the larger series in cases like this. (Though you can restore it with a custom series, of course.)

I told you above: tag it with series, as should have been done long ago. When I search for something like this, I just search for 'fathers' -- https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=fathers -- and then I look under Series/Sets in the left column, where it should be, but isn't.

I have a sort of workable compromise going but Logos needs to do some rethinking of some of their metadata for L6.
