where are you trying to copy the notes to?
and is the problem you are seeing only happening when using a reading plan?
Thanks for responding Graham. I am currently reading a book and it has room similar to the news feed for a faithlife group, to copy or type comments in the reading plan.
Neither is working.
Have not tried notes for a few days.
I've not seen that feature - is it new for SDA?
It's part of Group Reading Plans (been around since Logos 4.6).

I cannot share on the beta channel to the reading plan.
Same problem with the stable version.
Faithlife.com (which hosts the discussions) was having some issues around the time you posted your reply. It should be fixed now; can you test again?

and when you do, can you include some screenshots? This feature sounds interesting, but I don't recall ever encountering it and I'm lot as to where to include it in the Reading Plan and how it looks in L5.

Thanks problem solved.
It is showing a loading at the bottom of the reading plan. Don't think there is anything to load as no one has been able to post to it as yet.
Closed the reading plan and restarted and the loading... is still at the bottom. Will try a reboot and see if that clears it.
Problem resolved with restart.
