SUGGESTION: New note indicator

I'd like a note indicator that is a black superscript - a fixed character - to use when my note is nothing other than adding a missing reference.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    Good idea, but even more I want the note indicator to go after the quote, like normal footnotes. It's after I've read it that I know if I want to look it up in context or not.
