Reading Plan

Is there a way to keep your Reading Plan is List View? I used one of the "chronological NT in a year" plan that was posted in the forum but it always goes back to the calendar view. I have put it in list view, renamed it, and saved it in list view to a layout and it always goes back to calendar view when L4 is opened.

I hadn't noticed that, but I've just been using the appearance on the top of my home page to jump to each reading.

Other thoughts about the Reading Plans:

It appears when I get grossly behind that it shows one hyperlink for where I got behind, then the last two most recent readings...I really like that presentation methodology.
I would like to be able to change the display name of a reading plan...for example, I'm reading through the Apocropha in NRSV but it displays as "Read NRSV in 6 months"...if I were to create a second NRSV reading, then who knows what would happen. It would be more meaningful to me to change the name...but I'm sure over the 6 months I'll get used to it... ;-)

You should be able to change the name, although it is best to do this at the creation of the reading plan. Click on the edit link underneath your plan, and then click the pencil icon and change the name to whatever is revelant to you. Since I have quite few reading plans for books as well as the OT/NT; I try to keep the names consise.

It would be great if I could set up several reading plans like this to get through other books on a regular reading as well. I searched the videos and forums but couldn't find an answer.

Most definately!

On the top ribbon click on the file drop down menu-->reading plan; then select whatever resource you want for the plan. You may need to turn on page numbers for none bible resources. This will enable you to set the range for your reading options.

Some resources do not have page numbers, but you can still create a reading plan for them also. The plan will show topic heading rather than page numbers.

I'd never noticed the pencil before...thank you for the very helpful tip! As far as I can tell, there isn't a way after the fact to edit the title, unless I just delete and re-build the plan...I don't want to hack the reading plan file on the disk...but I'm better educated now than I was!

P.S. It's going to be a bummer going back to the rat race next week and not being able to live on the forums--my ability to leverage Logos has really soared quickly as a result of mining these conversations. ;-)
