I like to highlight well I read and often I come back and the highlights are gone. very frustrated!

Can you give some more details?
Is this in particular resources or all of them?
Do you know which Notes document is used for the highlights and is it enable in View Settings?

Noticed highlights are on laptop but not iPad - deleted logos from iPad and reinstalled - got highlights back
