QUESTION re: highlighting
Is there a way to make highlighting "by reference" rather than "by selection"? And is there an easy way in the associated note file to tell if a note is by reference or selection?

No to the first. Imagine pages and pages of commentaries highlighted because of "by reference"! To the second, I am not sure and I'm not near my computer.

Here is my best answer (now that I am near my computer). Not (necessarily) easy and certainly not full proof! Notice the two notes below... The first one is by "reference," the second by "selection." The note by "selection" auto populates a note title, whereas the note "by reference" does not.
