In response to http://community.logos.com/forums/p/86039/604280.aspx#604280 this is my method:
1. Books that actually appear in the Liturgy section are tagged "Guide section: Liturgy"
2. Books that should appear in the Liturgy section but do not are tagged "Guide collection: Liturgy". This gives me a way to search only what is missing in the Guide or by combining 1 & 2 do a full search.
3. Books are then given a three part Denomination tag: "Denomination: " is fixed. It is followed by a group name which is followed by the precise name used in the resource itself. These are sorted on mytag so the headers are my actual tags.

This allows me to use mytag:"Denomination: Catholic" to pick up all Catholic sources or to be more precise and pick up only "Roman Catholic" by mytag:"Denomination: Catholic - Latin" or the Western Catholic Church by combining Latin, Sarum and pre-schism.
All my collections are built off these tags - the permanent collections are:
- Catholic with pre-schism
- Orthodox with pre-schism
- Anglican with Catholic - Sarum
- Lutheran
- Jewish
- Presbyterian
