Question on updating a layout

I develop a saved layout to study at a particular reference in a Bible. Is there are way to update the layout to another verse reference in the same book all at once. I already have all the Bibles and Commentaries chosen that I want to use. Typically I have 8-10 Bibles and 20-25 commentaries. When I want to move to a different chapter, I have to re-update the reference in each individual resource, then update the layout so that it remembers those positions. Does anyone know a fast way to do this, besides running a new passage guide and choosing the resources all over again?

Suggest using link sets. Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Linking_Resources

Thanks. I can see how that might work. I didn't immediately think of it because the screen gets too sluggish when many resources are linked. However, if I initially create it that way and save the layout, then when I recall it, it would be fast to change the reference. Then I could also delete all the links in one command. Then re-establish the few that I use in the layout: primary Bible to CBV and perhaps 1 or 2 others.

Linking is definitely the way to go to sync the various references. I've also found it helpful to only have one translation open and then to press the right or left arrows to move through the parallel translations. This has significantly cut down on window clutter while still giving me access to the translations I use.
