Why can't Logos at least do a little bit more effort to polish it?? Seems abandoned badly..
I would like to suggest two things:
For my part, I quite like the note system, and I use it quite a lot. Of course there are things that could suit my usage better. For example, I find my note documents overly cluttered with highlights, since I group my highlights and relevant notes together. I would like to see some filtering options, the ability to add attachments (at least images) and I would like for the note system to be optimized for sermon preparation (Write a sermon in a note). I would also like to see some improvements in how notes are displayed on my android tablet (but I'll save that for a later time). None of these are deal breakers though, and I find the note system to be very much worth using, just the way it is.
maybe at least give us splle check feature?
The forum has a spell check feature, and that didn't seem to help you any. [:P]

I have it on good authority better notes are coming but I have no idea of the time frame.

Don't interpret this statement overly broadly.
Will small, incremental improvements be made to Notes in the near future? Yes.
Will most of the items at http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-5/suggestions/1619077-rework-notes-function-in-one-or-multiple-phases be addressed? Not at this time.
Please accept my very strong vote that this needs attention on mobile and Logos 5, with mobile (I'm partial to iOS) needing it the most.
Tiny incremental improvements simply illustrate that Logos isn't quite sure what you're supposed to do with Logos. Pretty repetitive book covers, I think, was a major plus (nail your PC to the wall to impress Christian visitors).
I'm not going to list all the things notes 'could' do in a Biblical study atmosphere (we've discussed this over and over). But putting little colored dots in the text, RTF-ish formatting, and search/printing, is what they did on mobile versions fifteen years ago. Anyone remember Microsoft Pocket Windows?
