I continue to get a "Logos quit unexpectedly" pop up each time I open the program. Has been happening for a week. This used to happen months ago and was fixed with an update but it's back. Any ideas?
HI Gregg
Please ensure diagnostic logging is enabled (as per http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging) and upload logs after a failed startup attempt
Graham
I've successfully downloaded a zip drive of my log report but I cannot upload. I continue to get the error message above

What browser are you using?
Do you have the option to try using another one?
It has failed w/ safari, chrome, and firefox.
Does it have to do w/ size of file? the log zipfile is 11.4 mb

I think there used to be a limit of 5 mb - but how do you create a Logos logfile of this size? z
Size could be the problem - it does seem very large
Can you just upload the logos.log file for a start?
here is logos.log. Thanks for your help. Is there a reason my zip file is so large???0363.Logos.log
here is logos.log
Thanks Gregg - unfortunately there is nothing in there that gives (me at least) any clue as to what might be happening?

Don't know. Can you look at the files which are included in the zip file and see which one is the largest and let us know?
Files tend to accumulate in the logging folder which is why I empty mine occasionally—with Logos not running.
here's a screen shot when the file is unzipped. 2 files are larger.
1) Logging.zip from 6/19 is 2.6 mb
2) console message.log is 3.5
Thanks Greg
I think Jack's advice is good (and he knows much more about the Mac environment than I do).
Can you move all the files out of the logging folder, try and start Logos and post the logs which are created after it fails?
I use the Logos logging utility. How do I empty it?
Zip the 6/19 folder and post it here
The logging folder is located in your Home/Library/Application Support/Logos4. In the Finder Go menu, hold down the Option key to see the Library folder. Hope that is all clear & correct as I am at Church on my iPad right now.
No, the service has not started
I hope this worked!

did my last log post reveal anything? I continue to get the 'quit unexpectedly' pop up every time. attaching another log. 2677.LogosLogs.gpfarah.20140628-102411.zip
Here is an error from your Logos.log:
[quote]2014-06-28 10:22:28.675 Logos[1460:707] Logos CrashReporter submission failed with error The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “crashreports.logos.com” which could put your confidential information at risk.
Do not know what it means, as I have never seen this one before. However, previously there was—and may still be—a problem with an revoked certificate.
Try holding down the Command Key as you launch Logos and select work offline. Let us know if you can log in then. Logos is calling home to report any problems with the application, but the real problem may be on their end.
any suggestion for a next step?
thanks for your help!
Unless Dave Hooton or KS4J offers a better solution, I would call/email Logos Monday morning https://www.logos.com/contact

Concur with contacting Logos since certificate error tends to be a server configuration item.
