ISSUE: Returned resources won't disappear from the log

On BUG: Continually trying to download resources Bradley wrote

I believe your system scheduled these for download after you had purchased the Daniel & Revelation Committee Series but before you returned that order. (I have confirmed that the update server is not currently instructing your computer to download these resources.) The program can't open them because it doesn't have licenses for them.
You should be able to fix this by deleting ...\Data\...\UpdateManager\Updates.db

This will remove the cached record causing Verbum to attempt to download the resources.

I recently started to notice that my indexer log contains a number of lines similar to this:

"WARN | 15 | IndexerProgram | Resource update <file name> is WaitingToInstall but resource could not be found at..."

where all the files are resources I have returned, most of them more than two years ago. Would deleting the Updates.db (or some other .db file) work for me as well, do you think, or is my issue something that needs to be fixed on Logos' end?

(There are no files in the Downloaded folder now, though once upon a time it did take months, if not a year, before those two year old returns stopped downloading with every update.)

Yes, I think deleting the DB would help you right now. It also sounds like something we should look into, to make sure the system behaves properly if resources have been returned.

Thanks, I'll try that. Should I delete the .db-journal file as well? Is it OK to do it now, when I happen to have updates waiting, or would it be better to wait until those are downloaded and indexed?

Yes, please. Those 2012 returns have been a nuisance for a long time now. First redownloading with every single update for at least half a year, if not a year, and although they were already there in the Downloaded folder. Several posts here about it without response, before I finally managed to get someone to do something so that they at least stopped downloading. And now it turns out they only disappeared from the folder, not the log.

I don't know if it helps you, but the files that show up are from my very first, and from my most recent, return. The few in between do not show up. I have no idea what's different about them. They were all downloaded prior to the return.

Yes, delete both files. When the program recreates the DB, it will perform a full check for updates (so a pending update won't get "lost").
