The subject of questionable marketing tactics appear periodically in these forums (which should be a warning to Logos).
I am not sure if this is questionable or not, but it did raise a brow. For the first time every (I have been using Logos since 2009) I received a Happy Birthday email with a coupon for $20 off a purchase. Great! Except that I received it after my birthday (no big deal), but the subject line read "... expires in 3 days", though it really expired on the 30th in only 2 days.
I just found it odd that they would send this to me at the end of the month with only two days to make a purchase. I could have used it a day earlier when I made that $50 purchase. Am I off base here?
Additionally, this thread has me a bit miffed as well:

I use Proclaim so it is not in my way, but are you really going to start putting advertising and marketing in menu commands? It is already difficult to avoid Logos emails even if you unsubscribe from every list.
I personally think that Logos's marketing is so aggressive towards customers it already has that it is beginning to leave a sour taste in my mouth. I understand they are a business that is in the business of making money. But, I question the tactics of this, presumably, Christian company. The menu command thing makes it appear, at least to me, that they are chasing a dollar at all costs.
Maybe I'm wrong.
