Shouldn't these versions match i.e. both be NABRE?

    The context menu shows the verse map of the reference as it is tagged in the resource (then extracted to the sidebar).

    Your choice of a display version doesn't rewrite the reference links in the resource; it only changes the contents of the Bible text that is displayed.
