Highlighting footnote text?

 Is there any way to highlight text found in footnotes, on an iOS device.  Main content text is highlighted by holding down and selecting it, but this does not work for me when trying to select footnote text.  All I get is a small zoom window to help read the smaller text presumably.  

 My desired purpose is to use the highlighter, if it helps.

Sorry, but there is currently no way to highlight in footnotes in the mobile (or other) Logos apps

Thanks for the feedback Graham.  My workaround, for anyone interested, is simply to highlight the word associated with the footnote itself.  Sometimes adding a note there as well.
