Logos 5 and Surface Pro 3

Does anyone have a Surface Pro 3 that they are running Logos 5 on? If so, what specs is your SP3? How fast is L5 on it? What are your impressions of the SP3 and of your impressions when running L5? I'm trying to decide whether or not if I should go with an i5 256gb or wait until the i7 256gb comes out. What other types of programs do you run on your SP3 (PhotoShop, etc.)? Do you have any issues running them?

I have used the original SP since March 2013 and it runs L5 fine with an i5. The i7 would only have a slight increase for Logos.

That's nice to hear. Have you noticed any slowness with L5 on the original SP? Is there anything you do not like about L5 on your Surface?

I'm thinking about going to check out the SP3 this evening. My current laptop has an i7 processor but the hard drive isn't SSD so I think that L5 may run even better on the SP3 with an i5 than my current laptop. I'm just not convinced the extra $250 for an i7 in the SP3 would be worth it.

I'm a huge fan of SSDs.... to the point that I've replaced mechanical drives in all of my machines. If you at all handy with a screwdriver, the odds are that someone has posted a youtube video demonstrating the precise steps for replacing your laptop's drive with an SSD. Its soooOOoo worth it bro.

Scott, I can assure you that Logos 5 does indeed run faster on my Surface Pro 2 than it did on my i7 laptop. No question about it. I feel certain that would be true on the Surface Pro 3 as well.
