System Restore: CRASH: Need Help

I had to do a System Restore (WinXP Tablet) because another program I ran messed something up. Now that that problem was solved, Logos 4 no longer starts. I had to restore back to about 2 weeks ago (12/20) so I know that I had undone one or more Logos 4 updates.

When I start L4 now, it crashes in the middle of Preparing the Library. Any suggestions/advice how I can get Logos 4 back to normal? (I even tried starting with Ctrl key, and it still crashed).

Peter, there has been a bug recently causing several of us some headaches that started affecting people once the date rolled over to 2010. It's not necessarily related to your crash, but just as a hunch: try setting your computer clock date back to sometime in December and try again and see if that fixes your problem temporarily. The Logos developers will be back in the office on Monday and will be looking at this date bug which does cause crashes in some cases.

It's possible that you got rolled back to an older version of Logos and the newer resources are causing it to crash. I would run the Logos installer to make certain the program is up-to-date.

If this doesn't work, by all means post your logs like Dave suggested.
