Bible search for each time the word "sin" is used in the books of Genesis, Exodus, and Deuteronomy.

I need to do a Bible search for each time the word "sin" is used in the book of Genesis, and the the book of Exodus, and the book of Deuteronomy.

I also need to do the same search for the word "wickedness".

I'm not sure how to do this.  I need all the help I can get.  I also would like to use the ESV Bible and a couple of other Bibles for this search.

1. First, open the three Bibles that you want to do the search across, and make sure no other Bibles are open.

2. Open a Search tab.

3. Click on Bible among the choices at the right side of the Search tab, to do a Bible search.

4. Click on the "All Passages" link to drop down the menu/selector for choosing what passage(s) of the Bible to search. Type Gen, Exod, Deut into the "New reference range" box, then click Save.

5. Now in the "search in" dropdown (where it says "Top Bibles" in my image above; yours might have something different selected), click and select "All Open Bibles" (unless that's already your setting).

6. Now type sin in the Search box. If you want to do the two searches (for sin and wickedness) separately, leave it at that. If you want to search for either sin or wickedness all in one pass, type the search text as sin, wickedness. Then press Enter and the search will begin.

7. If you only searched for sin the first time, then repeat after changing the search text to wickedness.

Your results should look something like this. I've got my search result format set to Grid here, but you can try the other layouts and see what you like best. The Analysis one is probably not useful to you at this point.
