He mentions a lot more. Good perspective from a well-known Christian author on the state of book publishing today.
Thanks for sharing this Rosie. It was helpful to read the perspective of a Christian author who has been in the industry since 1971.
A nice article. One click buy and read has its advantages when I do research, however, as my 16 year-old daughter knows- there is nothing like holding a book and getting lost in it.
Thanks for pointing this out, Rosie. I used to detest reading on-screen. But my current address couldn't get paper Christian books legally sent. Therefore, I decided that I'd have no choice but to learn to read electronic books. I now read mostly electronic. However, I find that my retention level is far, far lower with electronic books than paper.
But for sheer sense experience, nothing beats a quality paper book. Sometimes in a fit of nostalgia I grab an old book off my shelf and thumb through, inhaling vigorously the wondrous fragrance of the well-worn page.
