how do I link my Greek and Hebrew Bibles to an appropriate dictionary so I can look up the words I am not sure about with a mouse click or 2? I can do it easily in Logos 3, but have not found out how in Logos 4...
Have you tried to look any instructional videos? You need to prioritize your chosen Hebrew and Greek dictionary and it will work for you in the given Bibles. You can prioritize up to 5 resources per type.
Nicolette....
Have you prioritized your resources?
If you haven't, then you should.
You can go to the wiki and see how and why. See the link in my signature.
the direct answer to your question is this: you have to "right click" a word then then choose an option; lemma, word, manuscript form, reference, etc....
As you do that...your "prioritized" (favorite) lexicons, and reference volumes will be available to search.
Logos will take your top prioritized Greek or Hebrew lexicon and when you double click it will open that volume to the right word. If you prioritize more volumes you can use the right and left arrows on your keyboard to cycle through them. The next one will open in the same pane that your original word showed up in. Some lexicons don't work well this way especially in Hebrew because of differences in the lemmas, but it is handy to have and works much like it did in 3.0.
Mark Barnes did some fantastic videos demonstrating what you can do with prioritization. It's different than the keylinking in Libronix, but with the right setup it can be nearly as powerful.
