Themelios

I just finished watching the most recent free webinar found at https://www.logos.com/webinar/archive I make it a point to watch these free productions as despite the fact that I know a fair amount of information already, I near always end up learning something I didn't know.
One important takeaway I learned from Tuesday's webinar is regarding the Themelios journals. You will have them if you have base package Gold and above. I learned that you can update your collection free at the Gospel Coalition site. The most recent journal and archived issues formatted both in pdf and for Logos are found under the Editorial heading.
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

In addition, if you follow the GC blog or use an RSS feed to read their stuff, they will post a link whenever a new issue is released to the free Logos download.
After purchasing the original package, I haven't had to pay for any of the new editions in a couple years. It's a very nice service from GC.

I too watched the same video, becoming aware of the Themelios journals for the first time. After a little searching in the Logos forums, it appears that Logos is reducing their offerings in this category of titles. I see some benefit in having them. I would be disappointed if Logos did away with offering them and I missed my opportunity to get them.
I have the Silver package, so I do not have the Themelios Journals. Of what value is the upgrade to Gold or Platinum to get these journals, and what other titles would make it worthwhile in addition to the journals?
I just purchased the Essential IVP Reference Collection 3, which would have been at half price with an upgrade to Gold or above. Also just purchased the AMG bundle and 3 or 4 other single reference titles. Don't know if a discount would be available on the latter titles, but half price would knock the Gold upgrade down about $99 to $405 and change.
Or would you recommend I wait for future discounts on package upgrades?
Thanks

What do you think that the fact that TGL no longer has Themelios where it was (under publications) but has placed it under Legacy means? Is Themelios a thing of the past?

This post lists the resources you get in an upgrade from Silver to Gold. The value of individual resources will depend on your individual needs.

It will be interesting to see what happens in August. That is when the next issue is due out.
