Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament (SGNT)

Hi, what do you think of this resource, and the synactic breakdown?

To be honest I ignored in in Logos3, and found it again thisafternoon in my Logos 4 as I was scrolling through my Bibles

Q1) is it a good starting point for using Greek?

I am teaching myself Greek from the Nunn book in L4, and given I am only 13 chapters in.

Q2) is it too rigid and gonna cause me problems if I ever finish Nunn's Elements?

Q3) is there something better?

I'd be curious also.

I have purchased some of the Lexham product parts ( Lexham Greek and Hebrew interlinear, lexicon and the High Def NT) and I have been very please. I waited on the whole Lexham "sha-bang" thinking I would upgrade to a based package that it was included in. My Budget has not provided that ability to date.

I've been big on domains and it would seem logical that clause/syntax would be the natural "next step".

I like the Lexham stuff. My favorite is the Clausal Outlines. It helps to have the text dividend into its clauses so you can see what is modifying what, especially in adverbial relationships. I use it frequently.

I'm not familiar with Nunn's work so I can't answer about how well the Lexham approach matches his.
