Topics search

I wanted to do a search on the "Holiness of God" in 4.0 searching my library of 1,900+books.....but when I did there no results under the "topic" section !!!!!

Albeit I had 1,400+ hits in my library but no "Topics"

Do you mean to tell me that the Holiness of God is not a topic for 4.0 …..what am I or 4.0 doing wrong!

Users are just beginning to understand how to maintain and use this data. I just added a bit of data so that you can see tomorrow if not earlier the presence of data.

That is correct at this point.

What you need to understand is that topical searching/browsing is pretty incomplete in Logos 4. As Martha pointed out some of the topical info that is available comes from the reading lists. However much of what does come are articles in Bible dictionaries you own and these seem to give spotty results.

Your best approach for issues like this is to create collections of Bible dictionaries, theological resources, and topical resources and then search just those collections. If you do search your whole library you will probably get more results than you want to sort through.

We've been told that better topical searching should one day come to Logos 4. It is definitely needed.
