Can I copy hyperlinks from Logos to Word?
Yes, use the command "Copy location as URL" on the panel menu of the resource:
Note that you have to be running Word on Windows; Word on Mac OS X does not support our custom hyperlinks.
Is there something I need to do in Word first? I can copy from Logos to Word, but the hyperlink doesn't copy over.
In Word highlight the text you want to link to the hyperlink and press Ctrl+K. It will bring up the Hyperlink function. Just paste the Logos link in there.
You can also press the shortcut key in Logos to copy the hyperlink... Ctrl+Alt+C
Hope this helps
I'm sorry, but your request needs more explanation. When I have a url; i.e., "hyperlink", embedded in one of my notes I am able to copy the text of the note, including the hyperlink, and paste it directly into a Word document. Thus, I can trivially copy a hyperlink from Logos to Word.
Here is the note content that I copied:
"Forum: command line - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/56516.aspx Notes on backup: The cloud as your friend or foe!"
When I pasted it into my Word document the url became "live" and I was able to <CTRL>-click to follow the link.
The answer being provided by others on this thread seem to understand your question to be something else. Can you please tell us more about your intended usage? For instance, are you copying an existing hyperlink from a Logos document or do you wish to create a link in your Word document which refers to a Logos resource?
