I would like to ask all parents about the software that is able to block websites that contain inapropriate content. I am not so advanced in the internet things so I will be grateful for any advice.

Suggest you use a search engine to find websites which compare options for this.

I just discovered the Passage Guide in Logos recently....can you believe it? After all this time.
May God the Father have full control of me while I am on my computer. This is not intended to be an endorsement, but I make effective use of Norton Family on the computer that houses my Logos software. My stepson (a deacon at his Southern Baptist Church in RI) is my online parent and helps God watch over me.
He is also a Logos user from time to time.

My recommendation for controlling access is *always* to start with OpenDNS.com. Granted, a bit more technical savvy is needed. But OpenDNS blocks traffic at the level of the DNS requests - the step that's required for all internet connections which maps a friendly name like www.logos.com to a number (the IP address) - sort of like a phone book for the internet.
Blocking requests at that level means no tcp connection is ever made to an undesireable (or malicious, or fraudulent, or phishing) site, no http request is made to those sites, etc.

I can highly recommed you the PCWebControl, it's a reliable third-party software that contains a lot of useful features and is able to generate clear report about the activity that was made on the computer.
