Better check your Open Pre-Pubs page - might be in for some sticker shock next month!
And less than a two week warning![:O]
But bunches of singles. Just search in quotes 'Get more books at a bigger discount when you order the Eerdmans'
One of them was a Japanese gentleman I'd not heard of.
With only 8%-13% discounts why bother preordering? All these books will some day be offered as a "deal of the day", "March Madness" "Base Package" "Christmas Special" or some other special at a much bigger discount. I have been burned too many times.
The best deals right now are the denominational base packages with their bonus 15% off. Everyone should check them out before spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on Eerdman bundles.
I have not heard of him either. But he sounds a little like Toyohiko Kagawa.

It is extremely rare to have a sale price equal to a Pre-Pub price. I seriously doubt we ever see the "2010 books for $2010" again. But who knows for sure?

Egad! In spite of our request that they give us more notice.

If you pre-ordered early you did a little better. The ones I ordered are 15-20% off.
You would think Logos learned a lesson when Fathers of the Church shipped on short notice. How many cancellations did they have?
I just trimmed some "nice to have's" off my list to make room for the one collection I ordered. Oh well. [:(]
I'm in the middle of the pruning process right now. Too bad too. I really wanted some of those.
Oh well.
Too bad too.
Yes, a shame.
Should I start hoping for some of the collections to break down into individual titles?
They won't before they ship, so you'll miss out on the deep pre-pub discounts if you wait for this. On the other hand, if you only want a few of the titles, then you might end up paying less overall to get only what you want without a bunch of stuff you don't want thrown in with it.
For a moment, I thought I was getting a whole bunch of duplicate email. It adds up to a giant money chunk for me. I'll review it and pray over it. No real fluff in my orders.
God has always proven bigger than my perspective. A giant money chunk for me is chump change to Him.
I have now mine! Sadly, I had to scale back, but glad to receive these new books!
I need some (ok, maybe more) logosres links or logos4 name files from this bundle just released https://www.logos.com/product/37595/eerdmans-bible-reference-bundle. So can anyone make screenshots with all files from it ? (from Logos Resource folder). Or you can make a simple list with them if it's easier. How can be done: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/73456/604365.aspx#604441. Deeply appreciated your effort. Martin.
Here's a picture of 44 resources from 4 bundles (Commentary, Acts, Gospel Studies & Early Christianity) plus one single:
Martin,
did you notice on the bundles' product pages the new section "More Details About These Resources" ?
See e.g. https://www.logos.com/product/37037/eerdmans-biblical-interpretation-collection and scroll down to the bottom. This section will link to a new product page per book that is referenced not by the sales unit number (SKU) but by the resource id you are looking for.
Thus e.g. "The Bible After Babel", which is book #13 https://www.logos.com/product/37037/eerdmans-biblical-interpretation-collection#013 is refernced to https://www.logos.com/resources/LLS_BIBLEAFTERBABEL/the-bible-after-babel-historical-criticism-in-a-postmodern-age and thus you can infer the product id is lls:bibleafterbabel - check out logosres:bibleafterbabel or http://bible.faithlife.com/books/bibleafterbabel
Checking this new section, you now can create your resource lists all by yourself.
Mick
Glad to help! [:D]
Does anyone know when this ends?
Sorry for this question, But why are the “Eerdmans Bible Reference Bundle” So special.
I have been a Logos user four years now but I had not heard that Eerdmans resources were preferred or anything.
But many of you have said in this post that you are removing other items so you can his resources instead.
Thanks
