Hello, i'm new to Logos. But already love the software. :)

But i'm just sad that i don't see Latvian translations of bible. I would like to see new 2012 translation or at least 1965. It would help my studies a lot!

    Welcome, Edgars!

There isn't likely a very large potential market of Logos users who speak Latvian, so I'm guessing this wouldn't be something Logos would prioritize highly. In the meantime, if you'd like to have a Latvian Bible in Logos, you could do it as a Personal Book. Some others on these forums have done Bibles as personal books and can help you through the ropes, since you're a newbie to the software. Read http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books to begin with, and experiment with the Bible type first and see if you can get a simple one to compile and work properly in Logos. Then see if you can find a public domain text of a Latvian translation online somewhere. Here's the New Testament only. This looks like the whole Bible, the 1965 edition, though I can't read Latvian, so I can't be sure. Download it all, chapter by chapter. That can be annoying. (If you can find a version of the text that at least has all the chapters of each book of the bible on one page, that will take less time to download.) Then gradually work to put it into the format explained in the wiki for building into a Logos Personal Book.

It is a major effort, but if you choose to take this on, you will be able to share your work with others and your Latvian friends will thank you.

Yea, that's a lot of work. I don't have as much time to do that and i don't need LV in logos as much. I have 2012 on Oliver tree.
