Are ypu simply hovering over the note reference. If so try left clickink on it, this should open up the whole note and also allow any further references in the note to be opened.
This happens if you have set the Program Scaling to something other than 100%. It happens to all methods of displaying notes when it happens.
Adjusted the size of the fonts and the right click now shows the entire note. Will not happen with the Power look.
exactly. But not showing the whole note in PLU is not an SR-2 specific problem. I was seeing that "incomplete note" in the NET bible PLU before I add SR-2 this afternoon.

I think it's just a simple bug in the scaling logic. If you scale greater than 100% it seems to calculate the amount of space it needs for the footnote on the basis of 100% scaling. So if you scale 120%, you loose about 20% of your footnote.

my scaling is 100 % Though, and even when i tried changing the font size, it keeps cutting the note off at the exact spot.

I've reported this with a link to this thread. It looks the same in the Information panel as well.
Update: This will be fixed in version 4.0b.
