Question about a syntax search: How are these two constructions different?

I've been trying to learn to use the syntax search function, and I was looking for passages similar to 2 Tim 2:21's "he will be a vessel for honor." So, I was looking for cases where a predicate nominative was modified by a prepositional phrase with eis, and I built the search after the pattern of this verse. I only found 4 results, though, which surprised me at first.

I thought I would have gotten things like Romans 1:16: "it is the power of God unto salvation."

Looking more closely, it seems like in the vast majority of cases like this, Cascadia (which I was using) and also OpenText show the prepositional phrase as attached to the root of the clause with adverbial force. But in 2 Tim 2:21, it shows the prep phrase modifying the predicate nominative - which makes more sense to me.

So, I think there is some grammatical nuance that I am not understanding that is different between these passages. Can anyone help me understand what I am missing? I'm attaching a screenshot showing them side-by-side.
