I understand that when you import sermons into Logos, they have to remain at the same place on your hard drive in order for Logos to recongize them. If that is correct, then will sermons not transfer to a new computer?
Welcome to the forums David.
Copy the word document to the new computer with the exact file name.
On the new computer, find the personal book among the list of personal books already completed and choose edit.
Select the word file and build the book. Hope this helps.
For clarification:
When you import a sermon into L5 using the personal book builder, Logos reads the .docx file and creates a new file. You do NOT need to keep the .docx file in the same place... but if you want to rebuild the file you will need to know where it is stored.
The compiled file must stay in the same place... just as the rest of your resources that you have purchased.
Currently the metadata (author, title, etc.) for personal books sync, but neither the .docx file NOR the compiled file do. I personally use dropbox to sync the .docx files so that I always have access to the original file on my different computers. Logos IS working on some sort of sync for compiled files... but no word on when that might come.
