I can't figure out how to print a reading plan? Or print anything for that matter? The Help menu doesn't even seem to be much help. Am I missing something? Sorry for such a simple question...
No, you're not missing anything, but Logos is missing some things. Better printing support is supposed to be coming in First Quarter 2010. I'm betting it will be later since they are still quite busy with some service releases for 4.0a, and 4.0b is going into beta next week. However, it will be soon.
In the meantime, you can export a Reading Plan to Outlook and print from there. Or if you want a really kludge-y way of doing it, you can Page Down to scroll through your reading plan, and then do a screen capture on each page (Ctrl+PrintScreen) and paste that into MS Paint or some other graphic program which you can then print from.
There are a number of other features where you can print from L4 (if you search for Print in the help file you'll find them all), but some of the printing capability that was in Logos 3 has not been ported over to Logos 4 yet.
Thanks Rosie. I guess I'm waiting a while before removing Libronix 3.0.
Me too. I've got the disk space to spare, so it's not a big deal. I'm not really using 3.0 anymore (except occasionally to help me answer someone's question who wonders "how do I do X which I used to know how to do in Logos 3?"), but it's nice to keep it around just in case. I have gone mostly paperless in my life anyway, including Bible study, so I rarely would feel the need to print something from Logos. I do print out Scripture excerpts for the readers when I'm planning worship services, but Logos 4 lets me copy/paste those into Word and I can print from there.
