I was trying to find a sermon topic that would also have an entry in the Catholic Topic Index. So I entered "a" expecting to see the options starting with "a" ... but I can't explain why Verbum offered me the choices marked with arrows.

"and" !?
I do hope not ... but given how things are going ....
Just noticed something else here - and this is with Logos 5 (latest beta) and not Verbum
I entered "b" in the SSG - and get an entry for "Apostasy" which doesn't seem to match
If I enter it again - Apostasy is now defined further to include "backsliding" which does match
Similarly, for "c" - I get an entry for "Faith, Belief"
and entering "c" again - this is changed to "Faith, Conviction"
It looks like there is a problem when the match is on a synonym .... or very slow population of the synonym.
I do hope not ...
I'm afraid your hope is unfounded.[:(]
Try o and you'll get a lot of of's and one on. Type o + Enter, and you'll end up with Revelation, Word of God.[:S]
And then we have Logos' rather restricted view on what Word of God refers to: Word of God = Word = Revelation. That's it.
I also note that the Topic Guide is somewhat better at this. Is there supposed to be a difference in accepted topics between these?
And please fix the forum bug where posts look OK in Compose and Preview, and then post with different font sizes!

I believe themes to be a more restricted set. Thematic Outlines is built upon a single resource so I was hoping that I could determine today if it was the source of all themes. But I'm trying desperately to find some sort of a conceptual map tying LCV, topics, themes and Catholic topics together.
