You'll need to connect your Logos 4 PC to the internet. There's really no other way to do it properly. You might be able to persuade Logos CS to let you have a Logos 4 DVD, but I doubt that will have all your L5 resources on it. Even then I don't know if you could activate your copy without an internet connection (I know that you can activate via a serial number if your purchase the download, but I don't know if you can do that if you get a DVD much later).

Wiki has => https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers with Method 1 for offline computer cloning.
If laptop has adequate disk space, then could create a new user for an offline Logos 4 installation, which could be cloned.
Personally have a Windows 7 tablet with no internet connectivity so have an offline Logos 5 installation on my laptop that can be cloned (use internet set to No). When want to update offline Logos 5 installation on my laptop, can copy LicenseManager files and use scan command with restart to copy newer resources from my primary Logos 5 installation followed by indexing. Note: same user login and random folder names are being used on my computers.
FYI: tablet's Atom CPU is slow so do not have anti-virus software installed and have disabled wireless. Only use tablet offline with Logos 5.

I have been going over all the ideas and I do appreciate your help. I just don't know if I can get everything done in without messing something up. I wonder if I should just be happy using some Libronix series X, I have on my bookcase at home.

If Logos 5 is messy, can uninstall. Before installing, check available disk space. Installing Logos Pre-requisites needs an administrator.

That would be more realistic, but you need a manual backup of licences to do it offline i.e. install Libronix to your laptop and use Tools >> Library Management >> Backup Licences... to get the file.

Okay here's what ended up doing. I finally gave up on Logos4, so I installed a Logos 3 program from some DVD set I still have. I then downloaded the logos 3g upgrade zip file, installed it. I have Logos 3 still on my laptop at home so I backed up my license files and put them on the one at Church.
