Installing Logos 5 Library on a New Computer

Hi,
I have Logos 5 on my old computer, but the time has come to upgrade to a new Windows 8 computer. I'm wondering how to transfer my Logos 5 to the new computer. I assume that also means I need to delete it from my old one. But I want to keep the resources I've bought. When I transfer my computer files, does the programme automatically transfer as well? What about those from Logos 4? This must be a common issue, but I can't find anything about it on the FAQ page, or anywhere else. Thanks for your help.
In His grace,
Ed Sherman

Welcome [:D]
If you plan to keep your old computer, then you can keep your Logos library installed on it. Logos is licensed to the user, not the computer. Logos FAQ => https://www.logos.com/faq includes license agreement.
One option is installing Logos 5 on new computer that includes downloading resources => https://www.logos.com/installation Note: compiled personal books would need to be copied from old computer and scanned into new computer OR recompiled.
Another option is using a wiki method to quickly clone an installation => https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers
Suggest trying out Windows 8 blend of two user interfaces => http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9247572/Windows_8.1_Update_deep_dive_review_An_OS_that_makes_more_sense?taxonomyId=125 before purchasing new computer.
Noticed Windows 8 and 8.1 adoption rate lags a bit behind Vista => http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9250122/Windows_8_s_uptake_falls_again_now_slower_than_dud_Vista

Don't use Windows to transfer Logos files and settings between computers. You just need to install Logos 5 from this link and it will automatically download all your resources and index them. But you can save the download time if you backup resources from your old computer and use this wiki method.
You can have Logos installed multiple times for your own use, but it would be wise to uninstall Logos on the old computer if you are going to sell it.
Just remember to use the same Logos account and password on the new computer.
