Share - Logos Community

So I want to buy a license to logos for my son who is in 9th grade. What I want to do is share some of my books from vyrso and logos with him that would benefit his faith maturation. Is this possible? I know that I can do this now with Kindle. I just don't want to get in the rut of buying multiple copies of the same book.

For clarification: Amazon has a "lending" program, which isn't available for many/most resources. The lending policy allows one (and only one) person (ever) to borrow a resource for a period of two weeks. After that time, the resource is returned to the original owner.

Logos doesn't have a "lending" benefit. You CAN allow your son to have access to ALL of your resources while he is still "in your home." He would also have access to all of your notes, reading plans, etc. That may or may not be palatable to you.

Another possibility: Use "send to kindle" methods to allow your son to have access to some of your Logos/Vyrso books via the kindle reader or kindle app.

I like what you are suggesting John but Logos resources are only available to the person who has purchased them.

It has been suggested before that there could be a sharing option like borrowing a book for a limited period of time but this option doesn't exist at this time. Perhaps one day in the future....

Hi John, as alabama mentioned, your son can simply use your Logos license. You may want to think about creating a collection and/or tagging the books you'd like him to consider. Also teach him how to create his own note file[s] (perhaps giving them each a prefix so that they're easily segregated). You can also toggle the highlights from individual note files if you each want to see your own highlights.

I think it's very workable to share a Logos instance within a family as long as everyone plays nice (e.g. doesn't delete anyone else's content).
