Bug 5.2a/5.2b: Incorrect counts in Entire Library
I had hidden a book (The Outline Bible, rating 1) and restarted Logos v5.2a SR-7, pleased that the count in Entire Library had decreased by 1, but puzzled that edition:logos reported one more than expected when edition:user and edition:ebook were correct. However, edition:logos in Collections reported the correct value i.e.
- edition:logos in Collections = 1177
- edition:logos in Entire Library = 1178
Library did not list The Outline Bible but seemed to have 1178 resources based on the highest Rank.
Also found:
- myrating:1 in Collections = 531
- myrating:1 in Entire Library = 532
The same problem exists in my 5.2b RC1 installation after syncing & restarting! But it did not exist before restarting.
UPDATE: The resource is listed in Library with title:"outline bible" but only when sorted by Rank! When clicked a panel is opened with the message "This resource has been hidden". The count is 1 whether listed or not.
In Catalog.db IsAvailable=0, IsHidden=0 and in ResourceManager.db IsHidden=1.
Note that I have over 100 hidden resources.

It sounds like your Library Catalog Index may not have been updated (to remove the search result for this hidden resource). Try adding a tag or changing a rating to force a reindex. Does that fix the problem?

I had a similar issue with the public beta. I had to uninstall and reinstall to fix it. My issue involved hidden books not showing up like they should after an upgrade. One installation it worked fine on, the other not so much, then the hide state didn't sync between installations either.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

That must have occurred recently as the problem is fixed. The puzzling part is why the issue also occurred in another installation after sync'ing.
